Yes, there are plenty of written rules to digest in your quest to be admitted at the university of your choosing.  College admission requirements are clearly indicated and best accepted as specific high school GPAs, AP level coursework and those necessary standardized testing results to name a few.  Hit their requirements and though still competitive, your chances of admission are increased.

Now, adding soccer-in-college to that mix actually complicates the quest and requires an even better understanding of what’s possible and how you’ll achieve it.  What are the complications?  When should you really start the process?  What should your plan entail?  Can your family and player receive real help from a service like “CollegeTrak” long before you make your college choice?  What if you’re six months away from graduation with no place to play…what’s possible then?  Why would you pay for something like this?  Don’t college scholarships come find YOUR player?

Let’s be clear, if you’ve already concluded that grades were the single-most important part of any academic or soccer-in-college equation… you’d be correct.  Yes - there’s way more money in academics than athletic scholarships so…just have your athlete study more.  Simple right!  There you are…you don’t need our help or do you?  If getting the spot on a specific team is what you desire…and you HAVE the grades but HAVEN’T been asked…what then?  Is it time for an understanding of the unspoken rules?  Will a successful plan from “CollegeTrak” minimize the cost of the service?  When would you get your money back?  What’s the value?

Incorporating a plan will absolutely help.  For eighteen years families have provided their children every opportunity to advance academically and athletically so why stop now…on the doorstep?  Would a qualified liaison for the family/player be helpful on both sides of the academic/soccer-in-college question?  At “CollegeTrak” we believe it’s time to grab what’s possible but it’s likely not as clear as you would have preferred.  It actually gets more muddled the closer you get to admission!  So, why not let us help you push open the door and see clearer what’s ahead.

Our personal service spends real time speaking and visiting with your family.  Additionally we’ll use conference calls, texts and email relating the importance of academics as it relates to sports in college…early on.  Let’s not forget the importance of play level and training requirements.  Should you play soccer in high school?  Academy or high-level club? What would it be worth for your high school freshman to have a greater understanding (from a third-party) of the importance of a high GPA in their first semester of high school?  And, oh yes, we’ll be speaking of how it relates to their ultimate soccer-in-college quest.  Sometimes kids tend to listen to qualified advice from others and might they benefit from  “their coach” IF he/she had the time to do this?  We think so but this integral part of every unique situation isn’t always realized.  Not because coaches are “bad” but because they’re often just working hard like the rest of us…making a living against the demands of their time.  So…why not speak to us…for free to get started?

Our service is based out of the Washington, DC metro area but spans the Mid-Atlantic States.  We’ve got plenty of good examples to relate to you about what’s possible and what we’ve done with current and former prospects.  Yes, we have players going to the ACC and players going to incredibly strong academic programs at schools like D3 Johns Hopkins.  We’re passionate about helping and this service was created because we felt the need to do something as our “lifeswork”.  Helping families doing now what they could have done better IF THEY ONLY KNEW AT THE TIME!

Until we speak…study hard and work towards a goal.  Together we hope to make this process clearer and provide a real target and evolving knowledge as your questions arise.  We look forward to speaking with your family and player soon.  If you’re a player or the parent of a player intent on playing soccer in college, please respond by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
